Decks can be composed of cards from the current edition plus the two most
recent "blocks" of expansion sets.
This currently means:
Tenth Edition
Coldsnap
Time Spiral
Planar Chaos
Future Sight
Lorwyn.
Cards with a non-standard back are not allowed, but other printings of legal
cards are allowed.
New card sets become effective on the 20th day of the month
of their introduction.
The policy for removal of sets is that each new edition of the
base set replaces the previous edition. A new standalone set will start
a new block, and thereby replace the oldest "block" in use.
A new limited expansion will add itself to the current "block.
For example, when Urza's Saga was released, it caused the
Mirage/Visions/Weatherlight block to rotate out.
