6th Edition

Printing Information
The Sixth Edition was released in order to rotate the contents of the basic set.

The cards still have white borders, have a roman numeral six expansion symbol and "copyright 1993-1999" is on the base of the cards. The expansion symbol is black for common cards () silver for uncommon cards () and gold for rare cards ().

The set uses all new art. There are foil versions of every card and the foils have a black border.

The 350 card set's breakdown by rarity looks like this:
110 Rares
110 Uncommons
110 Commons
20 Lands

Cards from Ice Age, Homelands, Alliances, Mirage, Visions, Weatherlight, Tempest, Stronghold, and Exodus were rotated in. Basic lands appear in starter decks and not in booster packs.

Cards were first available on April 27th, 1999.

The print run is unknown.

Sixth Edition included an all new rule set for the game. These are a major change from the previous rules.

Seventh Edition uses the same rules.
